Huavela provides experience discovery, an AI concierge, and booking services, using the shared Huavela catalog and services.

Information you share

You can browse Huavela without creating an account. If you email us, we receive the information you include in that message and use it to respond.

When you use the AI concierge, your messages, preferences, session information, and feedback are processed and stored by our concierge service and its service providers to operate the conversation and recommendations.

Direct bookings and payments

When you book through Huavela, we store your name, email address, phone number, selected experience, travel date, travelers, pickup details, booking status, and payment reference. We use this information to arrange your reservation, send booking updates, contact you, and manage cancellations or refunds. We share the reservation details needed by your tour operator. Secure payment providers process your card details; Huavela does not receive or store your full card number or security code.

Third-party services

For hotel reservations, we share your selected property, travel dates, occupancy, nationality, and lead guest name and email with Nuitée (LiteAPI) to find rates and arrange your stay. Nuitée’s secure payment provider processes hotel payments. We store your reservation and provider confirmation details to manage your booking and provide support.

For flight bookings, we share passenger names, dates of birth, contact information, and any required passport details with Duffel and the operating airline to search, reserve, and manage your travel. Booking confirmation emails contain a private link that grants access to that booking; keep the link confidential.

We use service providers for hosting, the AI concierge, payment processing, email delivery, and phone services. These providers process the information needed to operate those services.

Links to booking partners and social platforms take you to other websites. Those services have their own privacy practices. When you book on a partner website or interact with a third-party widget, that provider processes data according to its own policy.

Analytics and cookies

Huavela does not currently use analytics cookies. Our hosting and application services process technical request information, including server logs and session identifiers, to deliver the website and operate its security and usage limits. Checkout uses browser session storage to let you access your booking status. Payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies to process payments and prevent fraud.

Phone concierge and SMS privacy

Universal Business Solutions LLC operates the Huavela Concierge SMS service. When you call our phone concierge, an automated assistant answers and our phone provider records your phone number as part of the call. Before sending a text, the assistant reads the SMS consent script, and you must explicitly agree to receive a requested tour or website link at the number you are calling from. Calling us, entering your phone number at checkout, or accepting our general terms does not by itself give consent to receive text messages.

We use your mobile number, your request or consent, and messaging records to deliver the links you requested, provide support, prevent misuse, and honor opt-out requests. This service does not enroll you in recurring promotional messages or a marketing list. We send one text per requested link, with up to three link texts per call. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from any other data-sharing described in this policy and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes. We disclose messaging information only to service providers, including AWS End User Messaging and mobile carriers, as needed to deliver messages, operate the service, and honor opt-outs. We do not share SMS consent with tour operators or booking partners.

Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out of further texts. You may receive a final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or email aloha@huavela.com. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. You can browse and book on our website without receiving texts. See our SMS terms and conditions for more information.

Retention and your choices

We retain personal information only as needed to provide services, manage reservations and disputes, meet legal obligations, and prevent misuse. Opt-out records may be retained to ensure we do not send unwanted messages. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw optional consent, by emailing aloha@huavela.com. We may verify your identity before acting on a request and retain records where required by law or needed to fulfill an existing reservation. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live.
